Shelf Specifications
Approximate burn time is 45 to 50 hours. Amber straight sided glass, 2.9 inches diameter by 3.5 inches high, with a 2.25 by 2 inch front label sized for clean price tag clearance, packed 12 per carton with dividers.
Approximate burn time is 18 to 22 hours. Low profile tin, 2.5 inches diameter by 1.75 inches high, with a 2 inch round lid label and tight lid fit, packed 24 per carton for baskets, checkout counters, and small displays.
Approximate burn time is 65 to 72 hours. Heavier jar, 3.25 inches diameter by 4 inches high, with a 2.75 by 2.5 inch front label field, packed 6 per carton to control shelf investment and carton weight.
Ordering Sequence
Email shop name, resale number, location, desired line, timeline, and expected opening order size.
Makana confirms scents, case counts, vessel availability, and any sample box credit.
House label wholesale orders invoice before production. Custom label and event orders require a 50% deposit.
The batch is poured on the scheduled production day and recorded by wax lot, fragrance lot, wick, vessel, and pour temperature.
Candles cure before labeling and carton work. Same week private label rushes are declined.
Balance is due before pickup, Oahu delivery, UPS shipment, or barge freight release.
Private Label Limits
No copied luxury brand scents, trademarked fragrance names, or packaging that imitates another maker.
No paraffin wax production and no untested customer supplied vessels.
No same week private label rushes, because cure time and burn testing are not optional.
No dropshipping single candles direct to retail customers for wholesale accounts.
No fragrance load above tested specification, even when a client wants a stronger cold throw.
New accounts should include a Hawaii resale number or out of state resale documentation with the first inquiry.
Makana reviews nearby accounts case by case, especially in resort corridors and small town gift districts.
Sample boxes are available for qualified buyers and may be credited toward an opening order when the line is booked.
Reorder before the last case is on the shelf. Ten business days is normal, but oil and vessel inventory can tighten.
